Beyond my academic work, I also do private psychometrics consulting for organizations in the Middle East. Psychometrics is the science of measuring psychological attributes for purposes of employee selection and assessment. I develop custom survey instruments that can be adminstered to job applicants or employees to evaluate their cognitive abilities, potential in leadership, personality traits, motivation, and skills. These psychometric tests help client organizations make better decisions around the question of who to hire and promote.
